We had an amazing sunset yesterday over the Sacramento area. This was the view from Lew Howard Park in Folsom.
Today I watched a tutorial that covered a technique called “Light Painting”. Basically you use a light to illuminate an object in the foreground while taking a long exposure of the night time sky. I did this tonight using a flashlight like a paint brush on this tree in my backyard with Jupiter in the background.
