Apple Hill - The Wine Shop
Apple Hill is in full swing this time of year! Apple pie, apple doughnuts, apple cider, apple shakes and let’s not forget apples freshly picked off the trees by YOU! Makes it so hard to watch what one eats this time of year!

Wintery Cabin
I must say that snow-covered wood cabins look very cool.
Grapes of Wrath

Maritza Memorial
Mount Shasta is truly a beautiful site for the eyes. I only wished the clouds could have cleared the summit so I could have capture its entire majestic beauty.

Empire Mine
Did a family trip to Empire Mine State Historic Park in Grass Valley a couple of weeks ago. It was fun checking out the old gold mining grounds and the equipment. Some of these mines were 8,400 feet deep!
Alone
Alone in a field of grass, this majestic oak tree slowly passes the time away.
I Love Folsom!
Folsom is not only a great place to live but has a rich history with the Old West. It was a pivotal town during the California Gold Rush days including being the Western Terminus for the Pony Express. It also was one of the first places in the U.S. to generate AC power with the Folsom Power House which was built to supply electricity for Sacramento in 1895. This photo is from Old Folsom near Sutter Street where you can shop and walk around to get a feel of what it used to be like.
