I woke up early this morning to take another photo of the conjecture with Venus, Mars and Jupiter. This time the Crescent Moon decided to join his friends.

Nature’s Show of Lights

We had nice a little lightning show last night. I’ve never been able to successfully capture it before. Either it was the middle of the day so the sky was too bright, it started to downpour or it would stop by the time I’d set up the tripod and get the right camera settings. Anyways, I finally did it!

I spent the evening on the Lake Natoma Bridge in Folsom with the family taking photos of the Super Blood Moon. To our surprise there were other photographers hanging out on the bridge too. We had a good time witnessing this amazing celestial event.
