This close-up of a California Poppy was captured with my macro lens. I'm always amazed how this type of lens can bring out details I would not otherwise see or notice.
These purple Lupine flowers can be found blooming in the wild at the moment in California. I found this one near some California Poppies I photographed. These flowers are also known as Lupin and Lupinus.
It's been awhile since I was out and about taking new photos. With the Spring weather now upon us I could no longer wait. These gorgeous California poppies have been sprouting up all over the region begging for me to stop and enjoy them. And enjoy them I did!
