This was view above a seating area at the Sacramento State Capitol building. As soon as I walked in the room I knew I had to capture all this symmetry.

I came across this house and immediately knew I wanted to give it a spooky yet inviting feel like you see in old classic black & white horror movies. Here's my attempt at spooky.
Eeriness in the Light
Here’s the same house from the previous post but this time with the colors very pronounced. I think this photo ended up with more of an eerie feeling than the inviting one I was seeking - but I still like it.
The Beauty of Symmetry
The bright yellow window trim of this small structure contrasted very well with the horizontal line pattern of the wall. To me, this was a nice blend of symmetrical shapes balanced with the right colors and a little help from the sun with the shadowing.
